Gina DeRicco, OD

Dr. Gina DeRicco graduated from Marist College with a B.S. in Biomedical Science. She then went on to receive her doctorate degree from The Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University where she earned a certificate in Advanced Studies in Contact Lenses. Dr. DeRicco has completed multiple externships where she gained experience in pre- and post-operative care, ocular disease management, and Cornea and Specialty Contact Lenses. Dr. DeRicco is currently an active member of the New York State Optometric Society and the Nassau County Optometric Society.

Dr. DeRicco provides comprehensive eye examinations, including the treatment and management of ocular disease. She evaluates and diagnoses conditions such as Glaucoma, Dry Eye, Cataracts, Macular Degeneration and Diabetic Retinopathy. Dr. DeRicco is experienced with fitting a variety of different types of contact lenses. She has over four years of experience fitting specialty contacts, such as RGPs and Scleral lenses for those patients with keratoconus. She also fits soft, toric and multifocal contact lenses, as well as ortho-keratology for myopia control. In her previous role, Dr. DeRicco managed two offices in Manhattan where she was exposed to a variety of challenging patient cases. 

Outside of the office, Dr. DeRicco enjoys staying active and spending quality time with her family, friends and her golden retriever, Lyla.
