ABOUT DR. RAPARIA

Dr. Eva Raparia received her undergraduate degree from Macaulay Honors College at Brooklyn College and was part of their prestigious 8-year combined BA/MD program with SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She subsequently received her Doctor of Medicine from SUNY Downstate Medical College with a Distinction in Research. During medical school, Dr. Raparia was selected for the Clinical Neurosciences Pathway Honors Program, she also received the Alumni Fund Research Fellowship Award and participated in community outreach vision screenings.

Dr. Raparia completed her ophthalmology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical School where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. Dr. Raparia went on to complete her Medical Retina Fellowship at Harvard Medical School Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Raparia has published in multiple peer-reviewed journals, presented at national meetings and has participated in teaching residents and medical students throughout her training.

Dr. Raparia specializes in the medical management and treatment of retinal pathologies such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions. She performs in office procedures, including administering anti-VEGF injections, and retinal laser procedures.
